Hot on the heels of her senate candidacy announcement, former Republican governor Linda Lingle will speak to the Maui Chamber of Commerce on Monday, October 17.

On Tuesday, Lingle announced her candidacy to run for retiring US Senator Daniel Akaka’s seat. Lingle is expected to discuss her candidacy at the luncheon as well as national and state issues.

The Maui Chamber of Commerce will host the former governor on Monday, October 17, at Café Ole at The Dunes at Maui Lani clubhouse from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Registration starts at 11:00 a.m. Fees are $32 for members and $42 for non-members.
