For those that missed the Halloween costume contests on Maui over the weekend, we’ve got the winning images that made headlines this year.

Lahaina Halloween: First Place $ 1000- "Mariachi Puppets" ( Group of men and women). Photo by Ted Gaubert, Courtesy Lahaina Town Action Committee.
Lahaina:
- First Place $ 1000- “Mariachi Puppets” ( Group of men and women)
- Second Place – Gift certificate – Two Night Stay- Westin Resort – Group of six women and one Man- all dressed in Black-” Robert Plant”
- Third Place- Mokulele Airlines- “Silver Surfer” ( Napili Local) one man dressed in all silver with a large skate board.
Piilani Village, Kihei:
- Child Division: Rag Doll, Ferananda 9 years old
- Adult Division: Joel Suarez, Project Runway, Maui 2012. Suarez’s costume was made out of magazine pages, carefully pieced together.
- Family Division: Grimes Family , Pirates
