A High Surf ADVISORY from the National Weather Service in Honolulu will be extended, covering the east shores of Maui and Molokai until 6 p.m. Sunday, November 13.
Forceful tradewinds at high speeds are creating rough surf. A longer-period north-northeast swell is expected to arrive on Friday.
Waves will climb to 6-8 feet through Friday and may reach 10 feet on the weekend.
Beach goers are strongly urged to stay out of the water in effected areas and away from shore break.
