While many companies are offering free shipping for the holidays, a Hawaii company that bottles water, has launched an unusual holiday promotion that offers free shipping on the weight of water.

“It’s an unusual gift and one that fits just about every occasion,” said Margaret Fuentes, Hawaiian Springs Marketing Director.

Hawaiian Springs began bottling water in February 1995, drawing the resource from an aquifer at the base of Mauna Loa on the Big Island of Hawai’i.

“The Big Island of Hawai’i produces some of the best water, naturally filtered by Mauna Loa’s 13,000 feet of lava rock, which serves as a perfect and surprising gift to those who live far from the beautiful islands of Hawaii,” said Fuentes.

The promotion offers free shipping on cases of bottled water through the contiguous US and Hawaii, excluding Alaska.  Cases start at $32 for a 24 count of 330 mL bottles; and run up to $48 for a 12 count of 1,500 mL bottles.

Hawaiian Springs is already available throughout the Hawaiian Islands, as well as the US mainland, Canada and Asia, at leading supermarkets and natural food retailers.
