Vehicles Thefts on Maui Nov. 13 to 19, 2011

There were a dozen vehicle thefts on Maui in the seven day period between November 13 and 19, 2011.

Four of the incidents were in Kihei, and there were two each in Lahaina and Wailuku. There were also reports of stolen vehicles in Kahului, Kula, Napili, and Pukalani.

Four of the vehicles stolen have since been recovered.

A complete run-down of incidents is listed below:

Kahului:

• Sunday, 11/13/11, 6:30 p.m.:  Kahului Beach Road at Harbor Lights.  1999 Gold Nissan Altima, License #MKU596.

Kihei:

• Monday, 11/14/11, 6 p.m.:  Nehu Place, off the shoulder of the roadway.  1994 Bue Jeep Cherokee, License #MPW573.
• Monday, 11/14/11, 7 p.m.:  South Kihei Road at the Kihei Resort Parking Lot.  1999 Blue BMW, License #LAJ093.
• Wednesday, 11/16/11, 12 a.m.:  South Kihei Road at the Kihei Veterinary Clinic.  2003 Black Audi A4 Convertible, License #MLT610.
• Friday, 11/18/11, 6 p.m.:  South Kihei Road at Paradise Gardens Apartments.  1997 Silver Toyota 4Runner, License #MPU607.

Kula:

• Saturday, 11/19/11, 8 p.m.:  Upper Kimo Drive.  2001 Gray Nissan Sentra, License #MSG643.

Lahaina:

• Tuesday, 11/15/11, 1:30 p.m.:  300 Block of Front Street.  1994 Green Ford two-door sedan, RECOVERED
• Wednesday, 11/16/11, 11:15 a.m.:  11000 Block of the Honoapiilani Highway.  2011 White Chevy Aveo, RECOVERED

Napili:

• Thursday, 11/17/11, 3:31 a.m.:  Lower Honoapiilani Road at Pohailani.  2007 White Golf Cart, open body.  VIN #2579577.

Pukalani:

• Saturday, 11/19/11, 9:30 p.m.:  Pukalani Street at the Pukalani Terrace parking lot.  2010 Black Harley Davidson, Street Glide FLHX, License #371MVN.

Wailuku:

• Saturday, 11/19/11, 11:18 a.m.:  Nipo Street.  2004 Red Honda XR250 Dirt Bike.  Vin #JH2ME08074K900077
