Vehicles Thefts on Maui Nov. 13 to 19, 2011

There were a dozen vehicle thefts on Maui in the seven day period between November 13 and 19, 2011.

Four of the incidents were in Kihei, and there were two each in Lahaina and Wailuku. There were also reports of stolen vehicles in Kahului, Kula, Napili, and Pukalani.

Four of the vehicles stolen have since been recovered.

Kahului:

  • Sunday, 11/13/11, 6:30 p.m.:  Kahului Beach Road at Harbor Lights.  1999 Gold Nissan Altima, License #MKU596.

Kihei:

  • Monday, 11/14/11, 6 p.m.:  Nehu Place, off the shoulder of the roadway.  1994 Bue Jeep Cherokee, License #MPW573.
  • Monday, 11/14/11, 7 p.m.:  South Kihei Road at the Kihei Resort Parking Lot.  1999 Blue BMW, License #LAJ093.
  • Wednesday, 11/16/11, 12 a.m.:  South Kihei Road at the Kihei Veterinary Clinic.  2003 Black Audi A4 Convertible, License #MLT610.
  • Friday, 11/18/11, 6 p.m.:  South Kihei Road at Paradise Gardens Apartments.  1997 Silver Toyota 4Runner, License #MPU607.
