Maui Electric Company (MECO) today announced a new e-notification service is being offered to help keep customers informed about important information including announcements and updates during extended power outage situations.

In partnership with the County of Maui, this new communication tool will notify customers during widespread power outage situations and keep them informed as power is restored. Subscribers will also receive notices of planned outages where electrical power must be interrupted to conduct work on the system. Occasionally MECO will share other important information through this service as necessary.
