BRIEF: Rep. Fontaine to Speak at Rotary Meeting

State Representative George Fontaine will be the guest speaker at the Rotary Club of Valley Isle Sunset meeting on Thursday, January 12.

Fontaine is expected to speak about his initiatives, plans, and what can be expected in the upcoming legislative session which begins on January 18 and runs until May 3, 2012.

Fontaine is a retired Maui Police Department Captain, former Rotary District Governor and currently represents District 11 in the State Legislature which includes Kihei, Wailea and Makena.

The meeting is open to the public and will be held at the Kahului Denny’s Restaurant starting at 5:30 p.m.
