Reminder: Police Chief Yabuta Invites Maui to Meetings

The Maui Police Department would like to remind the community that they will be hosting town hall meetings around Maui starting from today.

The first meeting is at Wailuku Community Center at 6 p.m. today.

Residents of each district are encouraged to come meet Chief Gary Yabuta, along with members of his command staff, and commanders and officers serving each district.

Attendees are asked to bring questions and concerns, and learn about new programs being initiated in the communities in which they live.

The series includes the following dates, times and locations:

  • Lanai High School Cafeteria, Tuesday, January 10, 2012 at 6:30 p.m.
  • Wailuku Community Center, Thursday, January 12, 2012 at 6 p.m.
  • Lahaina Civic Center, Tuesday, January 17, 2012 at 6 p.m.
  • Mitchell Pauole Center, Tuesday, January 24, 2012 at 6 p.m.
  • Kihei Community Center, Tuesday, January 31, 2012 at 6 p.m.
  • Eddie Tam Gym in Makawao, Thursday, February 2, 2012 at 6 p.m.
  • Helene Hall in Hana, Monday, March 21, 2012 at 6 p.m.
