BRIEF: UH to Accept $9.68 Million for Palamanui Campus

The University of Hawai‘i will receive a ceremonial check tomorrow for the planned Palamanui campus in west Hawai‘i.

The $9.68 million check comes as construction begins this year.  The planned Palamanui campus at the Hawai‘i Community College has been in the planning stages for eight years.

Among those expected to be in attendance for the news conference and check presentation event in Kona are:  Big Island Mayor Billy Kenoi; University of Hawai‘i President M.R.C. Greenwood; and Steve Colon, Executive Vice President, Hunt Companies, and Palamanui LLC Managing Member.
