VIRR’s Love of Maui 5K set for Feb. 14
The Valley Isle Road Runners’ For the Love of Maui 5K is slated for Feb. 14, at 5 p.m. The event, at Polo Beach Park in Wailea, is a benefit for Hospice Maui and Kihei Youth Center.

Run from Iao Valley to the beach in Kihei
The Third Annual Maui Valley to the Sea Half Marathon is set for Saturday, March 24, beginning at 7 a.m. The race starts at Iao Valley and ends at Mai Poina Beach Park in Kihei, just past the old Suda’s Store.
Runner’s interested in shorter distances can enter the 10- and 5-kilometer races starting at Mai Poina, also at 7 a.m. The 10K is a road and beach run and the 5K is a beach run. To register go to www.virr.com or www.valleytotheseahalfmarathon.com.
