4 Vehicle Thefts on Maui Feb. 19 to 25, 2012

There were a total of 4 vehicle thefts on Maui in the seven day period between February 19 and 25, 2012.

Three of the incidents were reported in Kahului, including one at Maalaea Farms on HC&S property.  This is the same site were multiple vehicle break-ins occurred on Saturday, February 25, 2012.

Vehicles stolen included (1) GMC; (1) Honda Accord; (1) Ford Ranger; and (1) moped.

A single vehicle was recovered.

Kahului:

  • Wednesday, February 22, 2012, 7:30 a.m.:  Hoohana Street at Hawaiian Plumbing and Mech.  2008 White GMC SRA.  Lic#: 683MDC; VIN#:  1GTEC19X38Z235177.
  • Thursday, February 23, 2012, 12:41 p.m.:  Kaahumanu Avenue at the Queen Kaahumanu Center , 3rd floor of the west parking structure.  1996 Silver Honda Accord.  Lic#: MJL774; VIN#: 1HGCD5698TA225318.
  • Saturday, February 25, 2012, 3:30 p.m.:  Hansen Road/Mokulele Highway intersection at Maalaea Farms, on HC&S property.  1995 Red Ford Ranger.  Lic#: 215MDA; VIN#:  1FTCR11U4SPB11039.  RECOVERED.

  • Saturday, February 25, 2012, 10:30 a.m.:  North Church Street/Vineyard Street intersection at the Maui Food Bank Distribution center.  2004 Black and Silver MOTOBRAVO moped.  Lic#: M64073; VIN#: LBXTCB3AX8X080323.
