Red Cross Recruiting Disaster Service Volunteers on Molokai

The American Red Cross is recruiting disaster services volunteers on the island of Molokai.

The series of classes provide basic volunteer training for disaster response.

All training is provided free of charge, but new volunteer candidates must be available to attend the entire series of three classes.

Course dates and times are as follows:

  • Disaster Services: An Overview & Disaster Assessment Basics: Thursday, March 15 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the OHA Conference Room
  • Shelter Operations And Shelter Simulation: Friday, March 16 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the OHA Conference Room
  • Disaster Action Team (DAT) Orientation: Saturday, March 24 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Queen Lili’uokalani Conference Room

Interested individuals can register online or by calling Michele Liberty at (808) 244-0051, ext. 159.
