The Maui Forest Bird Recovery Project will host a benefit night at the Maui Brewing Company on Friday, March 30, from 6 p.m. to midnight.

At Pint Night fundraiser, half of the proceeds from the pints sold that night will go to the conservation of Maui’s native birds.

The Maui Forest Birds group is dedicated to the conservation and research of rare and endangered bird species on the Valley Isle.  Work includes efforts to protect birds like the Kiwikiu, a bird found nowhere else in the world.

The event also fits with the Maui Brewing Co. practice of serving local, sustainable products, and working to minimize their environmental impact.

Field biologists from Maui Forest Birds will also be on hand for the event.

Maui Brewing Company is located off of the Honoapiilani Highway in the Kahana Gateway Shopping Center.
