Hawaiian Airlines is extending its Los Angeles to Maui summer service for an additional two months through October, adding nearly 8,000 new air seats to Maui during the extended travel period.
“We’ve seen tremendous demand for our nonstop flights between Los Angeles and Maui, and the strength of bookings through the end of summer has prompted us to extend the service into the fall,” said Peter Ingram, the executive vice president and chief commercial officer of Hawaiian Airlines, in a written statement.
Hawaiian Airlines had previously announced that its special Los Angeles-Maui summer service would operate daily from June 21 through August 19.
From August 21 through October 31, Hawaiian Flight #33 will depart Los Angeles International Airport three days weekly on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays at 9:40 a.m. and arrive at Maui’s Kahului Airport at 12:15 p.m. The return Flight #34 will depart Maui three days weekly on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays at 2:55 p.m. and arrive in Los Angeles at 11:15 p.m.
