21 Maui Burglaries Reported April 22 to 28, 2012

Maui police responded to 12 residential burglaries over a seven day period, between April 15 and 21, 2012.

There were four incidents in Lahaina; three incidents each in Waiehu and Wailuku; two incidents each in Paia and Makawao; and one incident each inHaiku, Hoolehua, Kalaupapa, and Napili.

The complete list of locations affected and times in which the incidents occurred are as follows:

Haiku:

  • Sunday, April 22, 12:35 a.m.: East Waipio Road, unlawful entry.

Hoolehua:

  • Thursday, April 26, 3012, 10 a.m.:  Keonelele Avenue, unlawful entry.

Kalaupapa:

  • Monday, April 23, 2012, 12 p.m.:  Kalua Koi Road, unlawful entry.

Kihei:

  • Wednesday, April 25, 2012, 4 a.m.:  South Kihei Raod at Paradise Gardens Apartments, unlawful entry.
  • Tuesday, April 24, 2012, 12 p.m.:  South Kihei Road at the Maui Banyan, unlawful entry.
  • Friday, April 27, 2012, 1 p.m.:  Alanui Ke Alii at the Worldmark Resort, forced entry.

  • Wednesday, April 25, 2012, 11:30 a.m.:  Kenui Street at the Front Street Apartments, unlawful entry.
  • Friday, April 27, 2012, 4 p.m.:  900 Block of Front Street, unlawful entry.

Makawao:

  • Saturday, April 28, 2012, 7:53 a.m.:  Leoki Place, forced entry.
  • Tuesday, April 24, 2012, 4 p.m.:  800 block of Makawao Avenue, forced entry.

Napili:

  • Sunday, April 22, 2012, 12 p.m.:  Lower Honoapiilani Road at Pohailani, forced entry.

Paia:

  • Monday, April 23, 2012, 2:34 p.m.:  600 Block of Hana Highway, down a private road, forced entry.
  • Monday, April 23, 2012, 7:30 p.m.:  Luna Place, forced entry.

Wailuku:

  • Tuesday, April 24, 2012, 1:22 p.m.:  West Vineyard Street at the North Shore Hostel, unlawful entry.
  • Wednesday, April 25, 2012, 12:50 p.m.:  Makaukau, forced entry.
  • Thursday, April 26, 2012, 5:30 p.m.:  Kapi Lane, unlawful entry.
