Road Advisory: Lower Honoapiilani at S-Turn in Kahana

Motorists traveling in the West Maui area are advised of a motor vehicle accident on Lower Honoapiilani Road in Kahana.
Authorities say there is a downed utility pole in the area as a result of the accident.
The incident forced the closure of the lower road between Aekai Place and Piina Place near the S-Turns surf spot.
The closure went into effect at 4:45 a.m.

There is no estimated time on when the road will reopen.
