Shriners Hospitals for Children in Honolulu will hold outreach clinics at the Masonic Temple-Lodge Maui, at 190 West Kamehameha Avenue, July 25-27, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily.

This is the Shriners Hospitals team’s second of three planned visits this year to the Valley Isle. They will screen new patients with orthopedic conditions who may qualify for care at the Honolulu hospital and provide follow-up care for Maui patients who are receiving ongoing care from Shriners Hospital.

There are two qualifications for care at Shriners Hospitals – children must be under age 18 and have an orthopedic condition that can be treated. All care at the hospital is provided to a child, regardless of the patient’s family ability to pay.

The Shriners of the Aloha Temple have a patient transportation fund, which is used for patients from Maui and the neighbor islands who may be eligible for transportation assistance to receive care at the Honolulu hospital.  Go Airlines sponsors the program.

A doctor’s referral is not necessary for care at Shriners Hospital. To schedule an appointment, call Sandy Zukeran at 808-951-3614 or 808-375-9479.
