BRIEF: Trash in Haiku Not Picked Up

Officials with the County of Maui Solid Waste Division say mechanical problems are to blame for a missed trash route in Haiku today.
Areas affected include Haiku Road, Kokomo Road, East and West Kuiaha Road, Kaupakalua Road, Hauhikoa Road, and all surrounding streets.
Department officials apologized for the inconvenience, and said trash on the route will be picked-up on Wednesday July 18, 2012.
