Kalo Sale Today at Maui Nui Botanical Gardens

The Maui Nui Botanical Gardens hosts a Hawaiian kalo (taro) sale today, Friday, July 27, beginning at 9 a.m.

Rare potted taro varieties from the ‘Ele‘ele, Mana, Lehua, Manini, Lauloa, Piko, and ‘Ula‘ula families will be available for purchase while supplies last, until the items are sold out.

There are 42 varieties available today, including a set of each variety, available as a set for $300.

The Gardens may not have these varieties available again until next year.

Maui Nui Botanical Gardens is located at 150 Kanaloa Avenue, in Kahului,  across from the War Memorial Stadium.
