An estimated 50 homes were believed to be affected, according to officials.

Department of Water Supply Administrative Officer Jacky Takakura said the source of the dirt was not confirmed, however, it may have been from construction activity in the area earlier in the day, she said.

Crews anticipated a restoration of normal service after flushing the waterlines by around 11:30 last night.
