The public is invited to “talk story” with three US Small Business Administration (SBA) directors who will be on Maui tomorrow, October 3.

Chris James, the associate administrator for Native American affairs will be joined by John Spears, the SBA’s special advisor to the Office of Government Contracting & Business Development, and Rob Watkins, the SBA’s director of the Office of Certification and Eligibility within Business Development.

The meeting will be held from 11:30 p.m. to 1 p.m. in the Akimeka Conference Room (right next to the offices of the Maui Economic Development Board, Inc.), located at 1305 N. Holopono Street, Suite 3 in the Maui Research and Technology Park.

Maui small business owners, managers, entrepreneurs, academic leaders, and public officials will be able to learn more about SBA resources, discuss federal contracting opportunities, learn more about certifications for small business, and share experiences.
