High Tech Maui’s Social Media Bootcamp Coming to Moloka‘i

Maui Economic Development Board and High Tech Maui will hold two special social media workshops on Molokai on Nov. 16 and 17.

Both workshops will be led by Peter Liu, a social media consultant with over 30 years in the computer industry. Liu has taught many workshops within High Tech Maui and is one of the founders of the Maui Social Media Users Group.

The first workshop, Social Media Bootcamp, will be on Friday, Nov. 16, at 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. The cost is $65. Individuals who are new to social media, or just getting started, and starting to think about an overall social media strategy for a business, will benefit from this workshop.

The second workshop, Social Media 201 for your business, will be on Saturday, Nov. 17, at 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. The cost is $35. This workshop is geared towards those who want to take their social media knowledge to the next level.

These workshops offer a high level view of the entire social media landscape and provide all the tools necessary to craft a strategy that works for an individual and their business.

Both workshops will take place at the UHMC-Molokai Education Center in Room 107. Snacks and drinks will be provided.
