The Maui property came in behind only its sister property, the Four Seasons Hualalai in Kailua-Kona on the Big Island of Hawai’i. The brand’s Lana’i location, The Lodge at Koele, was ranked 6th; and The Koa Kea Hotel & Resort on Kauai was ranked 19th .

This was the 11th year of the awards, and was based on millions of reviews covering 650,000 hotels around the world and collected in a singles year from travelers around the world.
