Condominium prices in Maui County jumped 27%  in February compared to the same month last year, according to statistics released this week by the Realtors Association of Maui.

The median price of a condo on Maui in February was $364,950 compared to $292,000 in January and $287,000 on year ago for the same month. That 27% is based on 100 condos sold in February, compared to 83 sold one year ago. Condo sales nearly doubled from January to February when 62 condos were sold.

Single-family home prices have also increased, but by a smaller margin of 7.2% in February compared to one year ago.

Median single family home prices in February were $550,000, which was the same as January, but up that 7.2% from one year ago.
