A series of three free health screenings is being offered on Maui this week as part of a co-sponsorship between Project Vision Hawaiʻi and WE…A Hui for Health.

The sessions will take place at the following times and locations:

  • Friday, April 19: 2 to 6 p.m. at Harbor Lights Condominium parking lot, 111 Kahului Beach Road, Kahului;
  • Saturday, April 20: 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Haʻikū Hoʻolauleʻa & Flower Festival, Haʻikū Community Center, Hāna Highway at Pilialoha Street.
  • Sunday, April 21: 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Mokuhau Road parking lot by Living Way Church, 399 N. Market St., Happy Valley.

A similar event held in Lahaina at the Hale O Waine`e Homeless Resource Center earlier this month reportedly drew more than 50 participants.

Health screenings are free and include vision, blood pressure, counseling, MedQUEST applications, and guidance on post traumatic stress disorder.
