Candidates for the new head-of-school post at St. Anthony Junior-Senior High School will be introduced this Friday at a series of meet-and-greet sessions on campus.

School officials say the meetings are part of the final interview process for a candidate to oversee campus management and operations.

Administrators announced plans to reshape the school’s governance earlier this summer in an effort to increase student enrollment, adopt 21st century learning methods, and improve overall school operations.

The newly formed Governance Committee is tasked with overseeing restructuring plans and the selection of a new head of school.

According to the school announcement, the meet-and-greet sessions will run about a half-hour for each candidate who will be introduced, and will then be given a chance to field questions. The sessions begin at 8 a.m. on Friday, July 10, at the school’s science lab located in room 112 on the upper campus.

Board members, faculty, students and parents of students attending St. Anthony Junior-Senior High School are invited to attend.

“Input from the participants at Friday’s sessions will be collected and a final recommendation for the head-of-school post is expected to follow,” a school announcement said.
