Maui Police Seek Suspect in Alleged Sunglass Theft

Authorities from the Maui Police Department are seeking the public’s help in identifying a suspect wanted for questioning in the alleged theft of sunglasses from the Luis Vuitton store in Kāʻanapali.

The incident was reported at 8:27 p.m. on April 8, 2013 at boutique located at the Whalers Village Shopping Center.

According to police reports, the man allegedly removed a pair of sunglasses valued at $670, without paying for them.

Police say surveillance video later recovered was not very clear, and the photos contained in this post were the best that could be obtained of the unknown suspect.
