The state Department of Transportation has scheduled several road projects on Maui this week that will result in lane closures.  All projects are scheduled to run Monday, Feb. 24 to Friday, Feb. 28, between 8:30 a.m. and 3 p.m., and are weather permitting.

On the Haleakalā Highway, pavement resurfacing will result in lane detours in both directions between the Kula Highway and Pūlehuiki Road.  Transportation officials say there will be no lane closures, but traffic lanes will be detoured around the work zone.

On the Honoapiʻilani Highway, road restriping work will result in a lane closure in the northbound direction between the Kuihelani Highway and Kapoli Street in Māʻalaea.

In Central Maui, road repairs are scheduled on the Kuihelani Highway between the Honoapiʻilani Highway in Māʻalaea and Puʻunēnē Avenue.  This will result in a single lane closure in the northbound direction during work hours.
