The Green has since re-arranged their concert schedule accordingly, with previously scheduled concerts moved to May instead, according to their website.

The Green’s most recent visit to Maui was as the headliner of the Winter Mele concert held on Jan. 18, 2014, at the Maui Tropical Plantation.

The group formed in 2009 on Oʻahu, releasing a self titled album in 2010. Since then their popularity has grown with a Number 1 iTunes and Billboard release, “Ways & Means,” a concert tour of the mainland, and the recent release of their latest album, Hawai‘i ’13.

Their “Hawaiian style” and “dub roots reggae” sound has resulted in accolades that also include: Album of the Year in The 2013 Pier Awards; AllMusic’s Favorite Reggae Albums of 2013; and Albums Of The Year: 2013 RudeboyReggae.com Awards.

Their music will also be featured in an upcoming episode of Hawaii Five-0 after winning the television program’s Fan Built episode contest last month.

The Hawaiʻi concerts featuring Bruno Mars will be held at 8 p.m. on Friday, April 18, Saturday April 19, and Monday April 21 at the Blaisdell Arena on Oʻahu.

The Hawaiʻi concerts kick off the second leg of his “Moonshine Jungle World Tour.”

The Grammy-award winning singer, songwriter, and producer was named Billboard Magazine’s 2013 Artist of the Year and won the Best Pop Vocal Album at the 56th Annual Grammy Awards.

The Bruno Mars Hawaiʻi concerts are presented by AEG Live and Tom Moffatt.
