No Advisories After 3.5 Hawaiʻi Island Quake

There were no immediate advisories issued following a 3.5 preliminary magnitude earthquake reported at 10:44 a.m. on Hawaiʻi Island.

The Hawaiian Volcano Observatory and the US Geological Survey report that the quake was centered 3 miles S of Volcano, Hawaiʻi; 22 miles SW of Hawaiian Paradise Park; 25 miles SSW of Hilo; and 51 miles ESE of Kailua-Kona.

The quake occurred at a depth of 3 km, according to the HVO and USGS.
