Parking Lot at Sun Yat Sen Park to Close for Improvements

The parking lot at Sun Yat Sen Park in Kēōkea on Maui will be closed beginning June 2, 2014, while contractors work to complete a $144,400 parking area improvement project, County of Maui parks officials announced today.

The contract was awarded to Rojac Construction, and is expected to take 120 days to complete.

Improvements include grading and paving the parking area, installing a drainage system, and designating an accessible parking stall.

Work is slated for completion on Wednesday, October 2, 2014.
