Mayor to Meet with Community at Barrio Fiesta

The next edition of Maui Mayor Alan Arakawa’s “County on Your Corner” event will be held on Saturday, May 31, from 3 to 5 p.m. at the Barrio Fiesta event taking place this weekend at the War Memorial Soccer Field in Kahului.

Joining Arakawa at the May 31 event will be Council Member Mike Victorino, Housing and Human Concerns Deputy Director Jan Shishido and Executive Assistants Rob Parsons, Joe Pontanilla and Mike Molina.

“It is important to connect with the community. ‘County on Your Corner,’ which will typically be scheduled in a different location each month, is a good way for members of my cabinet and myself to interact with community members on the issues that are of most interest to them,” Mayor Arakawa said in an announcement.
