Maui’s Nā Pua Kō girls fast-pitch softball team from Maui took home the state title over the weekend during the Amateur Softball Association Hawaiʻi State 12 and Under Championships held on Oʻahu.

The team from Central Maui dominated the tournament in the under 12 B division, winning by an average of 10 points and losing a single game by 1 point.

A total of 17 teams from across the state competed in the tournament, held on Sunday, June 1st at the Patsy T. Mink Central Oʻahu Regional Park in Waipahu.

Team members include: #12 Haley Gomes, #17 Aliya Harmon, #5 Cynthia Jimenez, #11 Tajah Kuloloia, #7 Taylor Nobriga, #6 Melia Paet, #4 Erin Prieto, #9 Kylenna Rieta, #2 Brie Shiozuki, #16 Dayna Siangco, #8 Jordyn Vierra, and #10 Jaden Viloria.
