Maui police say they responded to 21 burglaries, 9 vehicle thefts, and 16 vehicle break-ins in Maui County over a seven day period, between May 25 and 31, 2014. The complete list of locations affected and times in which the incidents occurred are as follows:

21 Maui Burglaries Reported May 25 to 31, 2014:

Kahului:

  • Monday, May 26, 2014, 6:54 a.m.:  South Kamehameha Avenue at Maui Lani Parkway at the construction site located on the northwest corner of the intersection. Non-residential, forced entry.
  • Monday, May 26, 2014, 3:16 p.m.:  Pūʻolo Place.  Non-residential, unlawful entry.
  • Tuesday, May 27, 2014, 9:23 a.m.:  Vevau Street at the UHMC dorms.  Residential, attempted entry.
  • Tuesday, May 27, 2014, 2:50 p.m.:  West Kauaʻi Street.  Residential, unlawful entry.
  • Wednesday, May 28, 2014, 11:41 a.m.:  Palama Drive.  Residential, forced entry.
  • Thursday, May 29, 2014, 7:46 a.m.:  Kahului Beach Road at Harbor Lights.  Residential, forced entry.

Kīhei:

  • Monday, May 26, 2014, 7:08 a.m.:  South Kīhei road at the Paradise Gardens Apartments. Residential, unlawful entry.
  • Monday, May 26, 2014, 9:36 a.m.:  Aliʻilani Place.  Residential, forced entry.
  • Wednesday, May 28, 2014, 4:16 p.m.:  Walaka Street at Kalama Terrace.  Residential, unlawful entry.
