Walk-in absentee voting for the primary election begins in Maui County on Monday, July 28, 2014, and continues until Thursday, Aug. 7, 2014.

Early voting for Maui residents is available at the County Clerk’s office on High Street in Wailuku from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Saturday.

On Molokai, voters can participate in early walk-in voting at the DAGS Building 1 meeting room on Mākena Place in Kaunakakai between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. Monday to Friday, and 8 a.m. to noon on Saturday.

The location is closed for an hour during lunch from noon to 1 p.m. on weekdays.

Voters are reminded to bring a picture ID with them to the absentee poling place.

The primary election this year is on Saturday, Aug. 9, 2014, and the general election is on Tuesday, Nov. 4, 2014.
