Mechanical Problems Result in Missed Kula Trash Route

Mechanical problems were identified as the cause of a missed trash route in the Kula area on Tuesday, Aug. 12, 2014, officials with the County of Maui Solid Waste Division announced.

Affected areas include: the Haleakalā Highway; Copp, Naʻalae, Lower Kula, Kolohala, and Pūlehuiki (one side) Roads; Kekaulike Avenue; Holomakani Place; Wahelani Street; and all surrounding streets.

County officials say they expect trash along the missed route to be picked up on Wednesday, Aug. 13, 2014.
