Maui Crews Respond to Small Brush Fire in Lahaina

Maui firefighters are responding to a small brush fire reported at around 12:11 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 22, 2014, in an area mauka of the Honoapiʻilani Highway in Lahaina.
Witnesses tell Maui Now that the fire is located in an area of brush off of Hōkiokio Road in West Maui.

The fire was contained and under control at last report.
Fire crews remain on scene.
