The County of Maui Cultural Resources Commission has postponed its upcoming meeting on Sept. 4, due to lack of quorum, according to a county announcement.

The Commission was expected to continue discussion, and possibly approve, proposed revisions at the meeting.

“The revisions aim to make the guidelines more clear and consistent, allow a broader choice of materials and design elements, and provide easier enforcement,” said Planning Deputy Director Michele McLean McLean in an earlier announcement.

The next meeting of the committee is scheduled to take place at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, Oct. 2, in the Planning Department Conference Room in the Kalana Pakui Building located on South High Street in Wailuku.

The proposed guidelines are available for review at the following direct LINK.
