Target is looking to hire approximately 250 team members for its new Kahului  store at the future Puʻunēnē Shopping Center, which is currently under construction and is set to open in March, 2015.

The retailer will host a four-day job fair from Thursday, Dec. 4 to Sunday, Dec. 7, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Maui Arts & Cultural Center.

Target representatives say hundreds of prospective candidates are expected to attend the public event to interview for open team member positions available throughout the new store.

During the job fair, store leaders will conduct pre-scheduled interviews with applicants and discuss Target’s team-oriented philosophy.

Interested applicants are encouraged to visit Target.com/careers to apply in advance.

A groundbreaking celebration was held earlier this year at the future Target site.

The new center is located at the corner of Mokulele Highway and Hoʻokele Street near Zippy’s on 24.45 acres of land that will include 275,000 square feet of retail space and approximately 1,425 parking stalls.
