Canadian Health Care Workers Win Christmas Contest with Maui Theme

Health care workers in Canada celebrated their love for Maui in a recent gingerbread house competition hosted by Health Shared Services in Vancouver.

Employee, Vanessa Crittenden who joined in creating the Maui themed village said, “We love Maui and wanted to show our appreciation for the beautiful island, people and Aloha spirit.”   The sunny village featuring palm trees, sand, a surf shack, roasting pig, and swimming was nō ka ʻoi, winning first place 2,679 miles away.
