SIREN MALFUNCTION WAILUKU: 1 p.m. 12/23/14, Maui Civil Defense authorities say there is a siren malfunction in Wailuku.

Officials say several sirens sent off a false audible tone, including sirens in Waiehu, Wells Park and Pāpōhaku Park.

Technicians are responding.  There is no emergency at this time.  Crews are looking into the cause of the malfunction.
