By MauiNow Staff
The University of Hawai’i baseball program will conduct a free coaches clinic Saturday, Jan. 10, at the University of Hawai’i Maui College.
The clinic will run from 10 a.m. to noon and is open to baseball coaches of all levels looking to learn coaching skills and techniques to develop youth talent.
Check in for the clinic is 9:30 a.m. in Room 103 of the Kalama Building.
Due to NCAA rules, the coaches may not meet with high school aged players or their parents.
Mike Trapasso took over the UH baseball program in 2002. After 11 seasons of guiding his team through the Western Athletic Conference, he made the transition in 2013 to the program’s new home in the Big West Conference. He has led his teams to winning records in eight of the last nine seasons, and has guided his teams to 30 or more wins in eight of his seasons. Trapasso is 382-360 overall at Hawai‘i.
