    Maui County Surf Forecast

North:  Swell expected to fade today with surf heights dropping to waist high and below.   Some larger sets at standouts in the morning up to chest high.

West: Northwest shores expected to be flat.  Southwest shores expected to have better surf in the waist-shoulder high range.

South:  Surf heights expected to be shoulder-head high at exposed breaks, with overhead sets at standout spots.

Keep in mind surf heights are measured on the face of the wave from trough to crest. Heights vary from beach to beach, and at the same beach, from break to break.
