Emergency Preparedness Training Tuesday at County Building

The County of Maui will conduct an Emergency Preparedness Training exercise at the Kalana o Maui County Building, located at 200 South High Street on Tuesday, May 5, 2015.
The training exercise take place on the 7th, 8th and 9th floors from 1:30 to 4:30 p.m.
During that time all affected floors will be closed to the public, and elevator service will be suspended.
The following offices will be closed during the training:
- County Clerk
- Council Services
- Council Chambers
- Councilmembers’ individual offices
- Office of the Managing Director
- Office of the Mayor

County officials say the training is part of a nationally accredited program being conducted by the Maui Police Department, and includes a safety briefing and simulated real-time scenarios.
