Our current south-southwest swell is expected to begin fading Saturday.
A northwest swell is forecasted to build Saturday, peaking Saturday evening and hold through much of Sunday before fading early next week.
Even though Hurricane Andres has fizzled in the East Pacific, the swell it generated is forecasted to persist into the weekend. The swell is forecast to hold through the weekend before easing through early next week.
Keep in mind, surf heights are measured on the face of the wave from trough to crest. Heights vary from beach to beach, and at the same beach, from break to break.
