Mechanical Problems Affect Refuse Pickups on Lānaʻi

Mechanical problems will result in missed trash pickup for some routes on Lānaʻi on Tuesday and Wednesday, June 9 and 10, 2015.

County officials say pickup on all routes will be completed by Friday, June 12, 2015.

If refuse carts are not serviced on their scheduled day, residents should continue to leave their refuse carts at the curb until serviced, department representatives advise.

Department officials apologized for the inconvenience and said they appreciate the community’s understanding and cooperation.
