Manpower Shortage Affects Refuse Pickups in Kīhei

A manpower shortage was reported is the Kīhei area on Friday, June 12, resulting in missed residential refuse collection along area routes.
Affected areas include the Maui Meadows subdivision, Keonekai Road, Puʻu Hoʻolai Street, and all surrounding streets.
County officials say trash on the missed routes is expected to be picked up on Saturday, June 13, 2015.
Department officials apologized for the inconvenience and thanked the public for their understanding and cooperation.
