Maui Officer Arrested for Operating a Vehicle While Under the Influence

A three year veteran with the Maui Police Department was arrested and charged for operating a vehicle while under the influence of an intoxicant.
Police say John Salomon, 39, was also charged with refusal to submit to a breath, blood or urine test.
Salomon was arrested at 1:53 p.m. on Thursday, June 11, 2015.
According to police reports, Salomon’s credentials and firearm(s) have been surrendered and he is currently on personal leave.

He was released after posting $1,350.00 bail.
