Manpower Shortage Affects Refuse Pickups in Haʻikū

Due to a manpower shortage, the Haʻikū area residential refuse collection route was not picked up on Friday, June 19, 2015.
Affected areas include the following: Hāna Highway; Door of Faith Road; Hohani Place; East and West Lelehuna Place; Manawai Place; ʻŌʻili Road; ʻUlalena Loop; Waipio Road and all surrounding streets.
County officials say the missed pickup is expected to be made on Saturday, June 20, 2015.
Department officials with the County of Maui Solid Waste Division apologized for the inconvenience and thanked the public for their understanding and cooperation.
