South: Wave heights of waist high or less are expected. Standout spots could get a bit bigger on the sets.

Screen Shot 2015-07-21 at 8.42.09 PMThrough Thursday a small mix of southern swells will continue to filter in. A storm in the Tasman Sea could bring a small swell to southwest exposed spots Wednesday through Friday. Fetch east of New Zealand is expected to bring a larger swell for the weekend.

Short period northeasterly swell is expected while a small boost from former Hurricane Dolores will blend in. Swell energy will fade for the second half of the week

Keep in mind, surf heights are measured on the face of the wave from trough to crest. Heights vary from beach to beach, and at the same beach, from break to break.
